OK, we're almost all set!

Please take a moment to read some important information below.

What comes next:

Here are a few more things to know before the interview:

  • We will be recording the podcast episode in Riverside, an online recording studio.
  • In the next day or two, you will receive an email invite from me with a link to the Riverside studio & calendar invite.
    • (Make sure to flag the email or add the studio invite to your calendar so you don't lose the link!)
  • NOTE: We will be recording both audio & video, and a video recording of this interview will be posted on the Women & ADHD YouTube channel concurrent with the podcast episode.

Prepare your space:

For the best quality interview, please make sure you have the following:

  • A quiet room without distraction
  • A laptop or desktop computer is preferred over using a mobile device.
  • Headphones & a microphone (or earbuds with a built-in mic)
  • You can join the session from your Chrome or Edge browser. Far from a computer? To join from your mobile device, download the Riverside iOS or Android app.

Prepare for the interview:

Before I hit record, I usually like for us to chat for a few minutes so we can get to know each other better, plan a little of what we want to cover during the show, and answer any questions.

My interviews are casual and conversational, and I start each interview asking you about your diagnosis story.

That said, expect to also answer questions about your specialty (ie. if you've written a new book, have something to promote, etc.).

It will also help you to be prepared to answer the following questions:

  1. What first made you think you might have ADHD, and what led to your diagnosis?
  2. What are some things in your past where you look back and say, “OMG, of course that was ADHD.”
  3. What do you love most about your ADHD?
  4. If you could rename “ADHD” to something else, what would you call it?
  5. I want to support you and your business. Tell our listeners what you do and how they can find you.
